MMA Ward
MMA Ward — Community Guidelines
Last updated: 12 July 2026 · Version: 1.0
MMA Ward is a fighter's locker room for real MMA fans — competitive, passionate,
and loud. Debate hard. Talk trash about fights and takes, not about people's
identities. These Guidelines keep the community safe and are part of, and
enforced under, our Terms of Service (Sections 8 and 9).
They apply everywhere you can post, comment, vote, name yourself, or message inside
the app — including Wards, Hot Takes, GOAT voting, duels, and your profile.
1. The short version
Do: debate fights, share hot takes, back up your GOAT picks, build your Ward,
compete with respect.
Don't: attack people, post hateful or sexual content, harass or threaten
anyone, cheat the game, spam, or break the law.
If you wouldn't say it to another fan's face at a live event without starting a
real fight, don't post it here.
2. What is not allowed
You may not post, share, or do any of the following:
2.1 Hate & harassment
- Attacks, slurs, or dehumanising content targeting anyone based on race,
ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation,
disability, age, or any other protected characteristic.
- Bullying, targeted harassment, stalking, or pile-ons against any User, fighter,
or public figure.
- Threats of violence, intimidation, or wishing harm on anyone.
2.2 Dangerous & illegal
- Content that promotes, organises, or glorifies real-world violence, terrorism,
self-harm, suicide, or dangerous acts.
- Anything illegal, or that facilitates illegal activity, including real-money
gambling, drug sales, weapons sales, or fraud.
2.3 Sexual & explicit content
- Pornography, sexually explicit content, or sexual solicitation.
- Any content that sexualises minors — this is a zero-tolerance, immediate-ban,
report-to-authorities offence.
2.4 Privacy & impersonation
- Sharing anyone's private or personal information ("doxxing") — real names,
addresses, phone numbers, workplaces, or private images — without consent.
- Impersonating another person, a fighter, a promotion, MMA Ward staff, or
pretending to be someone you are not.
2.5 Spam, scams & manipulation
- Spam, chain messages, unsolicited advertising, or repetitive/junk posting.
- Scams, phishing, malware links, or attempts to steal accounts.
- Off-platform promotion of real-money betting or sportsbooks.
2.6 Cheating & platform abuse
- Using bots, scripts, automation, or exploits to manipulate scores, streaks,
duels, tournaments, votes, predictions, or leaderboards.
- Running multiple accounts to evade bans, farm points, or rig outcomes.
- Probing or attacking the app's security (responsible-disclosure reports are
welcome at abubaker6192@gmail.com).
2.7 Intellectual property
- Posting content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other
rights. Use fighter names and event references for genuine fan discussion only.
3. Names, avatars & Wards
- Usernames, display names, and avatars must follow all rules above — no
slurs, hate symbols, sexual content, impersonation, or infringing images.
- Ward hosts may set additional house rules for their Ward and moderate it
(remove posts, mute, kick, ban) within these Guidelines. Host rules can be
stricter than these Guidelines but never more permissive.
4. Reporting, blocking & moderation
- Report any post, comment, or User using the in-app report tool.
- Block any User to stop seeing their content and interactions.
- We review reports and may remove content, issue warnings, mute, restrict
features, suspend, or permanently ban accounts. Serious violations (e.g. child
sexual content, credible threats) result in an immediate ban and, where
appropriate, referral to law enforcement.
- Automated + human review: some content is generated or checked by automated
systems; enforcement decisions of consequence are subject to human review where
practical.
5. Appeals
If you believe we got an enforcement decision wrong, email
abubaker6192@gmail.com with your username and what happened. We aim to respond
within 30 days.
6. Changes
We may update these Guidelines as the community grows. Material changes will be
announced in-app or by an updated date above.
Fight smart. Respect the game. Respect each other.
